Users can search the database of about 3,700 films by title, director, and cast. That provides detailed information about cast and crew, film synopses, and print information, as well as still photographs.
Highlights of the collection include early international features, German and international film classics prior to 1945, films from German filmmakers living in exile, film pertaining to Berlin, and German documentaries.
